SAFARI OVERVIEW
This 11-day Kenyan bush to beach holiday combo allows you to experience the best of seven unbelievable Kenyan destinations. The Safari starts from Nairobi and will travel through Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli National Park, Diani Beach, Shimba Hills and Wasini Island in the South Coast. This trip provides you with an excellent opportunity to view diverse variety of wildlife, the overshadowing snow-capped peaks of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the feel of the pristine coastal beaches.
Flight from Diani to Nairobi is included in the package.
TRIP ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Our driver/ guide will pick you up at the airport and drop you at the Sarova Panafric Hotel for your overnight stay.
Sarova Panafric Hotel is the perfect layover after many hours of inbound travel. The hotel reflects Africa's fascinating history, with authentic interiors embellished with vibrant African art, textiles, and open-air restaurant spaces and bars. Nestled on a hill overlooking Nairobi's Central Business District, a stay at the Sarova Panafric Hotel elicits mixed reactions about urban meeting traditional ways of life - the essence of this safari combo.

DAY 2: NAIROBI – MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Our driver/ guide will pick you up at Sarova Panafric Hotel at 7:30am and embark on a 6-hour drive to Masai Mara National Game Reserve. This game reserve is a complex ecosystem and the most famous destination for a Kenyan safari. The reserve is located in southwestern Kenya and has over 5 million animals roaming its savannahs. These animals include lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, rhinos, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, crocodiles, wildebeests and reedbucks.
You will check in at the Masai Mara Sopa Lodge, enjoy lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure enjoying the amenities of the lodge.

DAY 3: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
This is a full day adventure to explore different areas of the Mara. Early morning game drive to catch predators returning from the night hunt and late afternoon drive into quieter riverine zones. This is a whole day game drive and you will have picnic lunch under an acacia tree where it is safe to disembark from your vehicle. An optional cultural visit to a Maasai village is available late afternoon.
Note: You may enjoy an optional hot-air balloon safari at dawn followed by a champagne breakfast (pre-bookable and premium extra).
Highlights: Extended game drives, photography opportunities, and sundowners on the plains.
Later in the evening, you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
Some optional activities for the evening include an evening Maasai dance around a bonfire.

DAY 4: MASAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Rise with the sun and enjoy an early breakfast with the epic morning views of the majestic Mara creating an unforgettable farewell to the Mara, checkout and begin your 4-5 hour safari towards Lake Nakuru National Park, traversing Mau Summit.
You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, then check in and later head out for an afternoon game drive inside Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is home to migratory flamingoes forming the most beautiful pink array along the shores and about 350 other bird species. The park is also a haven for the endangered black and white rhino species, Columbus monkey, leopard, tree-climbing lion, Rothschild giraffe, and a variety of plain antelopes.

DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – LAKE NAIVASHA
After breakfast, at 08:30am you will check out from the lodge and begin the 2-hour drive to Lake Naivasha. At 11:00am, you will check in at the luxurious Naivasha Sopa Resort and you will be served a delicious lunch at 1:00pm. At 2:00pm, you will head out to Hell's Gate for a 2-hour scenic drive in Hell's Gate National Park. You may go out cycling as your driver/ guide follows from a distance if you get exhausted or the bicycle breaks down. At 4:00pm, you will embark on a boat ride to experience the lake and see several water animals such as the hippos and water birds. You will dock at the Crescent Island for a guided nature walk next to zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, waterbucks, and other game. Besides, it is the only park in Kenya where you can walk freely beside the game.

DAY 6: LAKE NAIVASHA – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Arise in the fresh Lake Naivasha morning air and take in its crispness as you partake in an early breakfast. After checkout, you will embark on a leisurely drive from Lake Naivasha, making occasional stops along the scenic route. Drive to Amboseli National Park (approximately 5-6hrs from Lake Naivasha).
You will arrive in time for lunch at the luxurious Kibo Safari Camp in the early afternoon, check-in, freshen up and head out for an evening game drive. Kibo Safari Camp offers an outdoor dining experience in the open terraced restaurant, set under acacia trees overlooking the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy freshly picked fruits and vegetables as part of Masaai's tantalizing cuisine.
In the evening, Maasai Morans' entertain our guests at the bonfire with their traditional dances that will give you fascinating insights into their ancient culture. Finally, you can chill out at the spa or by the poolside.

DAY 7: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
If you are lucky to occupy a mountain-facing tent, and it is a cloudless morning, you will wake up to exquisite views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The best way to kick off your day is an early morning breakfast, followed by a full-day game drive at Amboseli National Park. Mornings and evenings are ideal for game viewing since the park's mammals are most active around then.
You will have a picnic lunch at the Amboseli Observation Hill, the only high ground around, which offers a vantage point for game viewing and lunch atop the set picnic tables. The Amboseli Observation Hill is the only designated area where you can disembark your vehicle while on a game drive.
Later in the evening, return to the camp for refreshments, dinner, and your overnight stay.

DAY 8: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – DIANI BEACH
After an early breakfast, you will check out of the hotel. Ensure to adhere to the timelines so that you arrive at Emali Train Station in time to board the Madaraka Intercounty SGR Train at 9:30am. The Madaraka Intercounty SGR Train makes scheduled stops along the way to Mombasa's train terminus. The SGR ride from Emali lasts approximately 4 hours, reaching the Mombasa terminus at 2:10pm.
A driver will be waiting to pick you up from the train station for the onward transfer to Diani Sea Resort.
After check-in at Diani Sea Resort and freshening up, you can lounge by the poolside or beach bar and sample the various drinks on your all-inclusive package.
Your dinner and overnight stay are at the resort.

DAY 9: DIANI BEACH – SHIMBA HILLS NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast, travel 15kms to Shimba Hills National Reserve, which has the most significant coastal forest in East Africa and the highest concentration of African elephants. Besides the African elephants, the reserve is also home to coastal black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue, bush, & red duikers, Greater galago, Black-faced vervet and Sykes monkeys, serval cat, black, red-toothed and the knob-bristled Suni shrew. Other common species you can expect to see are the endangered Sable antelope, leopards, warthogs, bush pigs, giant forest hedgehog.
Among the 100 bird species, (22 of which are coastal endemic) known to call this place home are the ostrich eagle, African hawk, cuckoo, Kenya crested Guinea fowl, honeyguide, and greater hornbill.
You must remember to pack your trekking gear.
Return to the hotel for lunch at around 13:30pm. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon, take a stroll down the pristine beaches, or catch a sundowner.

DAY 10: DIANI BEACH – KISITE MPUNGUTI MARINE PARK (DHOW RIDE)
You will be picked up from the resort at 7:00am to board the Pilli Pipa dhow cruise at Wasini Island. The cruise features a light breakfast, a seafood lunch, and unlimited drinks.
Enjoy Kenyan coffee and tea while watching dolphins, turtles, whale sharks, and humpback whales during the dhow cruise. Life jackets, snorkeling gear, and on-the-water assistance from snorkeling guides are all available. In addition, two snorkeling stops allow you to observe the diverse water species that inhabit these coral reefs, including enormous shoals of fish, moray eels, and stingrays.
A seafood lunch awaits at Wasini Island. Lunch consists of fresh crab and fish served with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Other food options are available to those guests with specific dietary requirements. After the meal, you can relax by the beach or garden before returning to shore. The driver will meet you at around 6:00pm for your transfer back to the hotel.

DAY 11: FLIGHT FROM DIANI – NAIROBI JKIA
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ukunda airport, where you will make a connecting flight to Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
Supposing your outbound flight only departs late evening, we can arrange for a late checkout from Diani Sea Resort. You will fly to JKIA with enough time for check-in (usually leave around 3-4 hours).

• A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure reservations. • The balance must be settled no later than 30 days prior to the travel date. • Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment upon confirmation.
CANCELLATION POLICY
• 0–7 days before travel or no-show: 100% of total booking. • 8–14 days before travel: 75% of total booking. • 15–30 days before travel: 50% of total booking. • 31–60 days before travel: 25% of total booking. • Above 60 days: Free cancellation or minimal admin fee
